This painting is of a soft summer sunrise over a small pond. I had so much fun painting the grasses in the fore ground I was sad when it was finished. Some moments in our lives are just perfect. They seem like slices of heaven or paradise or whatever you want to call it. We need to learn to pause and take notice of when these happen. This is what I try to capture in my art. It brings me back to those moments. Pure peace.
